Most companies offer candidates a monthly stipend for the duration of their internship. This does not apply to all internships within this field, thus, candidates need to ensure they are aware of all the facts before applying.
All perks or allowances will be discussed with selected candidates before signing the internship agreement. These internships can range anything from 8 weeks / 2 months to 3 years. The duration will depend on the company offering the internship.
Most of these internship programs are specifically for South African candidates between the ages of 18 and 30. Candidates must ensure they adhere to all requirements before making their application.
