Costs Covered by Internships

Candidates will receive a monthly allowance from a company while partaking in their internship program, as well as all study material. Extra benefits will be on the discretion of each company and will be discussed with successful candidates upon signing the internship agreement.

Requirements

Most companies only take candidates that are citizens of South Africa and between the ages of 18 and 30. Each company will have a variety of requirements as needed per career path, yet, there are some similar requirements.

Basic requirements are:

  • Valid ID book or card
  • Valid Matric / Grade 12 certificate
  • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering   
  • Diploma or degree in related field
  • Computer literate
  • Fluent in English
  • Must be unemployed
  • Must not have a criminal record

Depending on the company, some candidates may also be required to pass a medical and/or psychometric test.
